Matting agent, also known as matting powder or matte powder, MA series tactile matting agent is a new type of composite functional additive that presents a perfect spherical shape at the microscopic level. After being added to the coating, this product forms tiny concave and convex surfaces on the surface, forming a light scattering effect that can achieve extinction effect. It can achieve surface properties, visual and physical effects that traditional extinction agents such as silica, white carbon black or wax cannot achieve. Due to their unique chemical properties and structure, MA series products can be used alone or in combination with other matting agents in various coating formulations.
Compared with conventional matting agents, it not only has a more balanced performance in four aspects: matting, transparency, rheology, and wear resistance, but also provides a finer hand feel and can form a more sophisticated coating.
